Name: Cleopatra Rene Jones
Age: 16
Class: Junior (we seem to have none of them, somehow)
Gender: Chica, femme, gal. You get it.
Date of birth: July 28, 1992
Appearance: ((Arg, I hate descriptions...))
Cleo's tall, decent-looking, and 1/4 African American (though in a place as white as this, she can get away with "black"). Her dark brown hair is insanely thick and frizzy; she ropes it into submission with a scrunchie or attempts to straiten it. Her eyes are lighter brown, though darker than her skin, which is more of a coffee-with-cream color. She'll usually wear a black trench-coat or a leather jacket, along with jeans and a shirt of some color. She's nearly 5'7", but tends to wear boots with heels, to look taller.
Personality: Cleo, like the Egyptian she was named after, is extremely confident and powerful. Everyone knows who she is, and she knows most of everyone, even the newest freshies. She'll talk your ear off without giving any gossip away, and argue an arbitrary point 'till judgment day. She's very much a leader, but will go off on her own if no one follows. She's stubborn, occasionally cruel without trying to be. Her friends are people who can hold there own in a debate with her and don't get scared off when she lashes out (happens every couple of months). She could be a nerd if she didn't fit into so many other groups (one of them, alas, is popular, but none of them are ditzy).
History: Cleo was adopted as an infant, as was her sister, Candice (not blood related). Her parents (adoptive) are both engineers, her father software, her mother chemical. She lead a normal, unassuming life (as much as any life is) until her first "accident" in ninth grade. Well, "accident" meaning "car crash severe enough to die from." It wasn't her fault; she was walking through a crosswalk when a drunk driver hit her a sixty mph. The driver was killed. She was carried to the hospital with a punctured lung and fractured ribs, among other injuries. When she got to the hospital, she was chatting with the EMs. Clearly, Cleo was a fast healer. Fortunately, one of the medics in the ambulance knew about Tinito's School for the Gifted, and convinced her parents to send her there. This is the middle of her second year here (she spent the rest of ninth and all of tenth grade at the school). Her sister is now also attending, a freshman, after she accidentally showed her powers of illusion-making.
Relations: Anthony and Marjorie Jones, adoptive parents (no powers)
Candice Jones, adoptive sister, illusionist
Hobbies: Cleo'll try anything once, but she likes to read, cook, do stuff with people, watch TV, write, and argue.
Extracurriculars: Theater, debated, community service.
Dorm Number: 313
Powers: Regenerative healing: She can heal cuts, bruises, broken bones, even regrow stuff.
Drawbacks: Healing takes massive amounts of energy. A cut will take a slim jim or a soda, a broken bone will take a double-cheeseburger with large fries, and a regrown leg will take eight energy bars, a cake, and four bottles of Gatorade (or other food equivalent). With no food intake, the healing would deplete her muscles to complete atrophy (she wouldn't be able to move). If her head was cut off, she would probably die (the head would try and regrow her body, but not have enough energy). Though she can survive on less oxygen than most people, asphixiation (like underwater) she would definitely die.
Anything else: If someone wants to be Candice, I'd be happy to be their sister (well, sort of...)
